I saw these puffins at Bempton Cliffs in Yorkshire while they were sheltering from the North Sea winds. It's difficult to see them amidst the hundreds of gannets and guillemots circling the cliffs but when they land their vivid beaks and feet make them unmistakable. This pair hung around just long enough for me to take photos.

Under the Lime tree

I saw these Red deer at Studley Royal Estate in Yorkshire. This herd was used to people and so were content with me sitting close by to take photos. The Lime tree they're standing beneath is a common feature of the Estate and provided the perfect place for the deer to rest.
