I'm a 20 year old student from Chester studying Geography at Durham University. I've always loved art from a very young age and never wanted to stop as I grew up! I've tried all sorts of mediums but have been using oils since I was 9 as I love their flexibility and versatility. I'm inspired by the natural world and always have my camera ready when I'm out and about or on holiday to capture animals or landscapes to paint.
I aim to paint in a traditional, realistic way as I want my pictures to capture a moment in time, almost like little windows into the world of these animals and places. I've had no formal teaching but owe a lot of credit to artist Andrew Tischler and wildlife artists like David Shepherd and John Banovich who inspire me greatly.
